A National Art Opening

To celebrate its new wing, the National Boston Video Center is throwing a party. The decorations may be more of a draw than the new facility, however.
Adorning the shelves and walls will be art created and donated by some of New England’s top creative executives.
On display will be paintings, drawings, photographs and sculpture by creative types from Arnold Communications; Mullen; Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos; Smash; Pagano Schenck & Kay; North Castle Partners; Toth Design and Advertising; Holland Mark Martin Edmund; Irma S. Mann, Strategic Marketing; Clarke Goward; Ingalls Advertising; and various freelancers.
“The work is terrific,” said Rob Schectman, executive producer and vice president of marketing at National Ministry of Design, the creative arm of National Boston.
Schectman would not reveal individual names, saying he did not want to appear to favor one artist over another, but agency sources identified some of the participants as Hill, Holliday’s Mike Pilato and Jason Gross, Mullen’s Dan O’Donnell and North Castle’s Julie Stone.
