ATLANTA Musicland Group has selected Zimmerman Partners to provide the creative elements of its advertising and marketing communications, an account valued at more than $50 million annually, the agency said.

Zimmerman said it won the creative assignment following a review involving undisclosed agencies. The incumbent, Interpublic Group’s Campbell Mithun of Minneapolis, lost the account earlier this year after working with the company for only four months. CM cited a “shift in Musicland’s internal marketing and advertising business” as the reason for losing the account.
