J. Walter Thompson’s San Francisco office today gets a new president.
Gordon Munroe, 45, formerly chief executive officer for Western operations at BBDO Canada in Vancouver, takes over the senior post, vacant since David Riemer resigned last fall.
Riemer’s duties had been handled in the interim by JWT West CEO Larry Tolpin and general manager John Geoghegan, who is leaving to become CEO of CareGuide.com, a San Francisco-based online resource for childcare and eldercare services.
