NEW YORK Teen denim sportswear brand Mudd Jeans will launch a national TV effort this week targeting young women 15-20 years old.

The effort, via GabrielNYC, New York, includes two 30-second spots that will air on cable stations such as MTV, BET and ABC Family Channel. The campaign budget was put at $10 million.

In “China,” a girl making a presentation to her class about her summer overseas exchange program shows that her Mudd Jeans are the focal point of her photos rather than the historic places she visited, much to the delight of the other kids but much to the dismay of her teacher.
