Microsoft’s MSN has cut to four in its direct marketing review, according to Select Resources International in West Hollywood, Calif., the consultancy managing the search. Vying for the estimated $15-20 million account are Omnicom’s Targetbase in Irving, Texas; independent Brierley & Partners in Los Angeles; and IPG’s directDeutsch in Marina del Rey, Calif., and Draft in Chicago. Four other shops were cut, including the incumbent, independent Innis Maggiore Group in Canton, Ohio. Presentations will take place in July.
