MS&L Boston Hires Healthcare Leader

BOSTON Publicis Groupe’s Manning Selvage & Lee has hired John Smith as senior vice president and director of healthcare, the agency said.

“John has a rich background in healthcare communications that covers a range of sectors including medical device and diagnostics, health information technology, e-health, managed care and biotechnology,” said Monique da Silva, managing director at MS&L in Boston, in a statement. “Because he has held positions in agency and corporate environments, he is well versed in diverse areas of expertise that match our clients’ needs, such as product launches with an emphasis on professional communications, patient safety issues and media relations.”
