Sharpe Partners in New York hired three staffers. Ed Brolin was named senior cli ent strat egist, a newly cre ated position; he previously worked at Strategic Interactive Group in Boston. Sarah Storey joined as project manager, also a newly created post; she formerly was a producer at Iguana Studios. Yvonne Clancy arrived as an art director; she most re cently was an art director at Tribal DDB.

Tom Harty was appointed senior vice president, general manager of The Golf Digest Cos., an independent unit of Advance Magazine Publishers, which is an Advance Publications company. He most recently was vice president, publisher of TV Guide Inc. The Golf Digest Cos. is based in New York.

Jay Advertising in Roches ter hired Tiffany Dacko as coordinating producer/Buick broadcast. Before joining the shop, an Interpublic Group company, she was programming coordinator for Young Audiences of Roches ter. In addition, Jay appointed Melisza Escher broadcast traffic coordinator; she previously worked at Martino Flynn.

Barbara Walters-Zwang was promoted to vice presi dent, human resources at Display Technologies in College Point. She most recently served as director of human resources.


Jerry Roache Direct named Stephen Dick vice president of marketing services. Prior to joining the Little Silver-based company, he worked as senior account executive at Corporate Communications Group in West Caldwell.

S3 hired two employees. Meredith Aman was named senior account executive; she most recently worked at Ritta & Associates. Jill Duffy was appointed senior art director; she previously worked at Ritta & Associates as well. S3 is based in Boonton.


MARC USA/Pittsburgh promoted three staffers. Candace Schweiger rose to senior media planner; she previously was a media planner/buyer. She will continue to plan media buys for UPMC Health System and FirstMerit Bank in her new role. Julie Brancato was elevated to media buyer for True Value Hardware, Rite Aid Pharmacies, UPMC Health System, Mellon Financial Corp. and Eat’n Park Restaurants; she formerly was an assistant media buyer. Megan Gustine was promoted to senior media coordinator; she most recently was a media coordinator. In her new role, she continues to handle accounts payable and other media-business issues for True Value Hardware and UPMC Health System, among others. Additionally, MARC Public Relations hired two employees. Kim Francis was named an account manager, handling PR efforts for Checkers Drive-In Restaurants, Le-Nature’s beverages and GNC Franchising; she formerly was a corporate communications manager for FreeMarkets in Pittsburgh. April Clark arrived as an account executive, working on GNC Franchising, Nutri Pharma and Rite Aid Pharmacies; she most recently served as an account coordinator at Magnet Communications in Pittsburgh.

The Brownstein Group hired Jamie Victor as a graphic designer. He will work on accounts such as Microsoft, the Uni ver sity of the Sciences in Philadelphia, Avecia and Pompeii. Prior to joining the Philadelphia-based agency, Victor was a designer for Etre Creative. In addition, Chris Reif was named interactive art director for Web Fingerprint, the online-marketing division of The Brownstein Group. He most recently served as a Web designer for Bucknell University.
