Amy Rankin has joined Scott-McRae Advertising as vice president in charge of the new public relations division at the Jacksonville agency. Rankin was formerly a vice president at St. John & Partners, also in Jacksonville.

Massey Person Brinati Communications in Maitland has promoted three staffers. Kathy Pierson has progressed to vice president of business services; Andrea Massey has advanced to director of operations; and Lynne Garrow has become director of advertising services. Jennifer Hodges has come aboard as senior account executive.

Tamara Kenworthy has been named vice president of client services and strategic planning at Vergason So-journer & McWaters. Deanna Domenico has been appointed account executive and Shannon Fitzgerald has been recruited as traffic manager at the Winter Park agency.

FKQ Advertising & Marketing in Clearwater has added senior account executive Stacey Howell and media coordinator Nicole Hanni.

Morgan & Partners in Jacksonville has welcomed Don Halleck as account group manager and Beth Copsey as account executive.

Doubletake Studios in Tampa has added three employees. Angela Hatch has arrived as office manager and traffic coordinator. Claudia Cary and Jeff Smith have been hired as art directors.

In Tampa, Carol Porter has joined Marimark Corp. as senior account executive for advertising services.

Recommend magazine in Miami has expanded its sales force, adding Lorri Robbins as national ad director, Hadley Roth as West Coast sales manager and Mitch Morris as Southeast regional manager.

Gary Firestone, chief executive officer of Firestone Cimring Advertising, has been appointed to the Florida Gulf Coast University’s broadcast services marketing committee in Fort Myers.

In St. Petersburg, Lisa Feld has joined DirectNet Advertising.net as senior account executive. Feld will be responsible for e-marketing campaign sales and account management.

KSC Public Relations in Sarasota has enlisted Michael Brown as art director.

World Publications in Winter Park has installed David Combe as publisher of Wind Surfing and Kite Boating magazines.


The Weather Channel in Atlanta has designated Alex Dombronovich Southeast account manager and Ed Perry North Central account manager.

Sawyer Riley Compton has hired Laura Hauseman as art director. The Atlanta agency has also recruited Lianne Gough as account coordinator and Giles Blencoe as media planner for the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co. account.

Point b creative director Kathi Roberts has been elected president of the Atlanta chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts. Separately, Kim Marks has been named senior account manager at the Atlanta agency.

Teasdale Enterprises of Arts and Media has assigned Reager Harper as a team leader at its new office in Atlanta.

Erin McGivney has advanced to an account coordinator’s position at Atlanta-based Denmark Advertising & Public Relations.

Wayne Owen has moved to The Hauser Group as creative service manager. Owen joins the Atlanta company from Lawler Ballard Van Durand in Birmingham, Ala.

Scott Nichols has been named vice president and account supervisor at Kilgannon McReynolds Advertising in Atlanta. Nichols will supervise the LeasePlan USA account. He joins KMA from Austin Kelley Advertising, also in Atlanta.

Jill Winkler has joined the staff of Ruane Communications in Atlanta as account director.
