Dickinson Direct, Braintree, has hired Thom Lewis as art director, Heather Churchill as graphic designer and Susan August LaCombe as executive assistant. Lewis has held design posts at Northrop Paper Corp. and TJX Cos. Churchill was a designer at Learningsmith. LaCombe has worked at John Hancock Financial Services and Raytheon Co. Dickinson also has promoted Gary Harriman to manager of inventory and material handling from inventory supervisor.
Arnold Communications in Boston has promoted Tara Ryan to account executive from assistant account executive and Karin Sachs to assistant planner from coordinator.
Arnold Direct in Boston has named Alan Blose senior vice president and creative director. He will report to president Shari Williams and oversee work for clients such as Bell Atlantic, Staples and the Food and Drug Administration. Blose most recently served as vice president and creative director with Wunderman Cato Johnson in Chicago, working on direct projects for H&R Block, Sears and Citibank. He also has held senior creative positions at DraftWorldwide, HDM Worldwide Direct and Krupp Taylor USA.
Colette Phillips Communications, Needham, has named Sheila Begonis creative services manager, Anne Weisman editor, Theresa Lindo account coordinator, Rhonda Miller and Jay O’Brien account executives, Judith King public relations director and Illiana Vazquez special projects coordinator. Designer Timea Adrian has joined Corey McPherson Nash, Watertown, and will work with clients such as Wild Web in Newton and New York Benefits Life Services in Norwood.
