NORTHERN CALIFORNIA San Rafael-based 360 Group appointed Mari Johnson creative director of the company's strategic and creative services group. She joins 360 from her own consulting firm. Theresa Marcroft joined Cylink Corp., Santa Clara, as vice president of worldwide marketing. She previously served as head of worldwide marketing at SurfWatch Software, a division of Spyglass. Katsin/Loeb Advertising, San Francisco, hired Kristin Geiger as management supervisor on its Fireman's Fund account. She previously worked at HMS Partners as an account supervisor. SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA Pamela Kaufman was promoted to senior vice president, promotions marketing, at Nickelodeon and Nick at Nite in Santa Monica. Prior to the appointment, she was vice president, promotions marketing, at Nickelodeon. J. Walter Thompson Technology Communications Group named Bud Barnes account director overseeing management of the agency's global technical clients. The CGI Group, Grey Advertising's international public relations arm, promoted Liv Eisaman to senior account executive in its Los Angeles office. Janice Kaye was promoted to executive vice president of The Roxburgh Agency. Most recently, she served as vice president, client services, at the Costa Mesa shop. MC Direct, based in Poway, promoted Alexandra Walsh to account executive from senior project coordinator. Elizabeth Herbst was promoted to executive vice president, advertiser sales, for Studios USA Domestic Television in West Hollywood. She previously served as senior vice president, advertiser sales. Phillips-Ramsey, San Diego, promoted Michael Catanzaro to account executive. He works on the WD-40 Co. and San Diego Zoo Wild Animal Park accounts. Dale Lanier was promoted to vice president, marketing and special projects, at UPN. The Los Angeles-based television network also promoted Felicia Green to executive director, affiliate marketing. Kristine Kunze joined UPN Marketing as executive director, marketing, and Pamela Liptak-Kosters joined the department as executive director, marketing operations. Jesse Meli was promoted to president of Los Angeles-based The L.A. Studios Inc., parent company of L.A. Studios, Margarita Mix Hollywood, Margarita Mix de Santa Monica and Zona Playa. Los Angeles-based GMO (Global Music One) appointed Keith Dardick vice president of marketing to head the brand development and launch of eMotive, the company's digital marketing tools and services group. He formerly was executive vice president of Guerilla Productions, Los Angeles. Eric Granof was appointed a senior associate of Lippincott & Margulies, Los Angeles. The Designory/Pinkhaus, Long Beach, added Paul Hosea as senior vice president/executive account director. Sony Pictures Family Entertainment, Culver City, appointed Tamara Woolfork director of business affairs. She previously served as director, business and legal affairs, at Warner Bros. Feature Animation. Computer Cafe, Santa Maria, retained Laura Zinn of Zinndependent, New York, for representation in commercials on the East Coast. Irv Schulman was named vice president, advertising sales, for Buena Vista Television in Burbank. As vice president, Schulman is responsible for sales of ad time for all Buena Vista properties. Mike Thomas joined Alper/Alper & Lopez, Woodland Hills, as an associate creative director. He formerly was creative director at The Disney Store. Terry Minogue joined from EMI Capitol Music as manager of creative and production at the shop. Chris Carlisle, former senior vice president of worldwide creative advertising at Warner Bros. Studios, was hired as senior vice president of marketing for FX Networks, Los Angeles. Kenneth Glesener and Michael Blumberg were appointed vice presidents and banking officers in the sales and service division of Citizens Business Bank's Orange County region. Fred Sawabini was promoted to president of sales and marketing at Channel One Network in Los Angeles. Lages & Associates, Irvine, appointed Kim Alexander account executive. UTAH Blakeslee Group, Park City, named Joanne Aplanalp account executive. She previously served as a senior producer at KSL-TV. WASHINGTON Karen Bruhn joined Jerome and Associates in Redmond as a partner. She brings an international focus to the firm after spending several years developing and managing international communications efforts for various companies. The Seattle office of Think New Ideas promoted Jennifer Travis to project manager from her previous position as account coordinator. The company also added Duane Walker as director of strategic development. Seattle-based advertising and public relations agency KNBC/Dave hired Tom Jensen to head its newly created travel division. Marketing executive Julie Colehour joined Pacific Rim Resources, Seattle, as director of marketing.
