ILLINOIS Kim Donovan was promoted to senior partner, strategic planning and research, at Bozell Worldwide's Chicago office. Donovan joined the agency in 1992. Kate Lynch was promoted to global research director at Starcom Worldwide in Chicago. Her predecessor, Jayne Spittler, a senior vice president, is taking the newly created position of knowledge manager. The Rosen Group hired Doug Clemons as senior art director. Clemons joins the Chicago agency after 15 years of working freelance. Laura McLaughlin was promoted to associate media director at DDB Chicago. McLaughlin joined the agency in 1994 as a media assistant. Leo Burnett in Chicago elected Suzanne McDonnell and Patrick Venetucci vice presidents of the agency. INDIANA Gabby Bennett and Kendra Peak joined Communico, Indianapolis, as copywriters. Sarah Butcher was promoted to media assistant from sales assistant at a sister company. MICHIGAN J.R. Thompson appointed Cori Atkin office receptionist. Young & Rubicam, Detroit, has hired 14 new staffers, several of whom are rehires. Rejoining the shop are Tom Zager as vice president, associate creative director, and Aaron Rajda as vice president of interactive business solutions. Michael Brudenell was hired as a senior copywriter. New in account services is Marina Reyna, who joins as an account coordinator. Meghan Labadie joins account services as an administrative assistant. Elliot Fuller joins as a recruiter. Dan Forberg was hired as the account supervisor co-located at Ford Internet and New Media in Dearborn. Dawn Kurc joins as a senior interactive project manager. Katherine Hicks was named interactive account planner. Anthony LaRusso joins the interactive team as an account planner. Nicole Case joins as an interactive planner. Kathleen Hart joins the agency as vice president, director of graphics services in print production. Christopher Vary is a new graphics communications manager. Jennifer Currie joins the broadcast department as a talent payment specialist. Michael McCollum is a new network specialist in the information technology department. The agency promoted Heather Luckow to account supervisor, Geneva Cusmano and Stacey Kleinbriel both to senior account executive, Addy Biron to account executive, Jessica Dankert to assistant account executive and Kathleen Petz to human resources executive. MINNESOTA John Porter joined Bolin Marketing and Advertising, Minneapolis, as executive creative director. Bobbi Coulter was appointed key accounts manager for Multi-Ad Services in Eden Prairie. She will oversee integrated marketing programs for clients such as Pillsbury, General Mills and Polaris. MISSOURI Barkley Evergreen & Partners added five new staffers to its Kansas City office. Kim Staab was appointed team controller. Seth Perisho is a new copywriter. Rebecca Dusek was named assistant account manager. Steve Covell was made director of information technology. Angela Snow is a new account supervisor. Kim Governali joined D'Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles, St. Louis, as a senior art director for assignments for Coca-Cola and M&M/Mars. Zachary Lips joined as director of the agency's art studio. Prior to joining D'Arcy, Lips was at Creativworks. OHIO New at Hensley Segal Rentschler in Cincinnati are Kris Thrasher, marketing management specialist; Ellen Sprunger, senior designer; Tammy Staley and Jon Reischel, public relations consultants; Thomas Wright and Jim Schweigeraht, e-commerce program developers; and J. Kevin "Doc" Wolfe, copywriter. Elisabeth Drennan was promoted to senior account executive at Sive/Young & Rubicam. She will work on the Mercy Health Partners account at the Cincinnati shop. Northlich Stolley LaWarre, Cincinnati, hired Tina-Gaye Bernard, Becky Kimbell and Sean Garry. Bernard is an account assistant in public relations; Kimbell is an account supervisor in public relations; and Garry is an account manager in direct marketing. Innis Maggiore Group in Canton promoted Patricia Charlikowsky to account executive in the public relations department. WISCONSIN Sprecher Bertalot & Co. hired Rebekah Korns as an assistant account executive in the client services department. Korns joins the Milwaukee agency after working at BVK/McDonald and Hoffman York. Neal Bardele joined Eichenbaum + Associates Advertising as vice president of client services. Bardele had been director for the Milwaukee office of Bender, Browning, Dolby & Sanderson.
