TEXAS Showcase Productions promoted vice president of production Daryl Haynes to general manager. The Dallas company also hired Kay Oakes as vice president of marketing and sales Susan Good as account executive. Oakes was recently with Levenson & Hill in Dallas, while Good was editing director at CSI. The Atkins Agency, San Antonio, advanced Ken Slavin to media relations director. Slavin has been with the agency since 1990. Bates Churchill Advertising, Houston, welcomed John Beltz Jr. as vice president and management supervisor. He previously was marketing services manager at FMC Energy Systems Group. Williamson-Dickie Mfg., Fort Worth, hired Bruce Convissar as chief operating officer. Among his duties will be oversight of the company's marketing and sales. Wheeler Advertising, Arlington, appointed Ron Cheney and Leslie McDonald to vice presidencies. Cheney directs the creative department, while McDonald heads media at the RV, marine and automotive advertising shop. Clinicor, an Austin-based provider of clinical research services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries, assigned Janice Hutt, D. Patrick Haney and Ajay Ohri to its sales and marketing division. Witherspoon & Associates promoted Wendy Dunn to public relations account executive. She has been with the Fort Worth agency since 1996. The agency also elevated Rishi Seth, an art director at the shop since 1993, to senior art director. WarrenCordes+ in Austin enlisted art director Michael Chang, formerly assistant designer with SicolaMartin, also located in Austin. Chang will handle design and production. Paul Lazzaro joined The Woodlands Operating Co. in The Woodlands as vice president of marketing and public affairs. Lazzaro has served the company as an executive marketing consultant for the past year. DesignWorks Advertising Group, Wichita Falls, hired account service coordinator Ashley Bennett and artist Michelle Skipworth. Stuart Bacon, Fort Worth, named Victoria Peloubet traffic manager. Peloubet previously operated her own design firm. Melissa Walsh was promoted to account service manager at The Forbes Group, part of Dallas' Broadwell Marketing Group Co. Walsh works on the company's Allied Domecq business. The Tate Agency, Houston, added assistant account executive Clay Hudgins, a recent graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. Vollmer Public Relations, Houston, hired senior account executive Kelli Stevens; account executives Jennifer Lott Sudkamp and Wendy Wall; assistant account executives Courtney Caudle, Alyssa Graf and Sally Mashburn; account coordinator Randy Stuart; and production assistants Holly Glatzel, Linda Thomas and research coordinator Bindu Nair. Harwood Marketing Group in Dallas recently promoted nine executives and staff members. Moving up to vice president and partner/management supervisor roles are Alice Platt and Kelly Hayes, along with Les Hazelton as vice president and partner/executive creative director. Other employees with new titles are associate creative director Rebecca Swango, senior account executives Ainsley Roy and Julie Pritchett, account manager Diana Buettner, and senior art directors Jeff Flowers and Kevin Kelly. The Campbell Agency, Dallas, recently hired new talent and modeling agents Shannon McHale-Horan and Susie Feinstein. ARKANSAS Karen Berry Van Til joined Stone & Ward, Little Rock, as account executive on the Terminix International business. She was advertising project manager for Zales Corp.'s Gordon's Jewelers division in Irving, Texas. Also new at the shop is associate account executive Jay Stanley, who will handle duties for Wendy's of Arkansas, the Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau and Jefferson Regional Medical Center. OKLAHOMA Teresa Slagle and Laurie Tilley progressed to newly created positions at Littlefield Marketing and Advertising in Tulsa. Slagle moved up to vice president and director of marketing, and Tilley became vice president and director of account services. Cimcase International Corp. hired David Love as director of sales and marketing for Baan. Lowe joined the Tulsa firm in December.
