M/C/C, Dallas, recently promoted three staff members. Media relations manager Kim Coutts advanced to director of public relations; broadcast producer Lynnie Henderson progressed to associate creative director; and senior public relations representative Michael Berkeley moved up to media relations supervisor at the high-tech specialty agency.
The Associates First Capital Corp., Dallas, named Sandra Allen senior vice president of corporate communications.
Coastal Corp., Houston, promoted vice president Thomas Wade to senior vice president of supply, marketing and marine transportation. He has been with the company since 1980, recently serving as senior vice president of Coastal States Trading.
Witherspoon & Associates, Fort Worth, elevated Diane Liguori to an account executive post. Liguori has previously served as proofreader, creative group assistant and account representative in her four years at Witherspoon.
Host Communications, Dallas, installed Kelly Krauskopf as president of women’s sports. Krauskopf joins from the Women’s National Basketball Association, where she was director of basketball operations.
Patrick Henry Creative Promotions, Stafford, added Debra Casimir as on-premise marketing coordinator for clients Promus Hotel Corp., Interstate Hotels Corp. and NewCastle Hotels. Casimir’s role is a newly created position.
Bates Churchill Public Relations, Houston, hired account executive Shannon Otermat. Otermat is a former account executive responsible for media and community relations, special events planning and marketing collateral production with The Tate Agency, Houston.
Mike Itashiki joined public relations firm Halcyon Communication, Dallas, as director of technical services. He will manage a team of designers and technicians creating multimedia presentations and Web sites for clients. Itashiki previously was a consultant for a number of entertainment companies.
Corporate Marketing Associates, Dallas, hired senior consulting director Michael Lysko, formerly senior director of business development for Molstar Sports and Entertainment; public relations director Phillip Worth from Tip Nunn’s Events Inc.; and consulting director Jill Danieli, previously with Turner Entertainment Group.
Karen Earhart was tapped as account executive at Stuart Bacon, Fort Worth. She was previously an account executive handling manufacturing and healthcare clients at Witherspoon & Associates, also located in Fort Worth.
OSC Teleservices, Lubbock, promoted Paula Wilkinson from regulatory compliance administrator to marketing support specialist. Wilkinson will be responsible for marketing and business development support and coordination of all advertising and public relations activities.
Griffith Phillips Creative, Dallas, made the following staff additions: production manager Betty Banks; account management director Katy Barrilleaux; account executive Amy Hale; production artist Angie Magers; senior art director Bo McCord; assistant account executive Kim Mills; and account supervisor Kern Ormand.
Mark Stanley was promoted from wireless marketing and business development director at Tandy Corp., Fort Worth, to vice president of strategic alliances. He has been with Tandy since 1975.
Richard McKeown moved up to senior vice president of Cranford Johnson Robinson Woods, which has offices in Little Rock and Raleigh, N.C. McKeown will be responsible for the management of the agency’s professional development division that provides executive communications training and counsel to clients. The executive advances from a vice presidency in which he headed professional development and was assistant director of public relations.
Stone & Ward, Little Rock, appointed Angela Chazelle its new print production and traffic manager and Amy Frazier media planner and buyer for clients TCBY, Acxiom and Chenal Properties.
Sue Cearley was promoted from account executive to account supervisor at Blackwood Martin/CJRW, Fayetteville. Cearley will oversee clients such as Arvest Bank Group, Cooper Land Development, First National Bank & Trust of Rogers, Sam’s Club Plus and McDonald Eye Associates. Before joining the agency last year, she was vice president of marketing and public relations for the Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville.
