A NEW YORK
J. Walter Thompson chief marketing officer Mary Baglivo has been promoted to chief operating officer, a new position. Baglivo retains a second title of global business director on the Warner-Lambert account with the shop, located in New York.
Griffin Bacal in New York tapped Brendan Hanrahan to be management supervisor, overseeing such accounts as Mott’s, Just Born and iBaby. Before joining the agency, Hanrahan worked as a freelance editor and reporter.
CooperDirect Advertising has named Jon Medwick creative director, overseeing the New York shop’s plan to move into the area of direct marketing for online advertisers. Most recently, Medwick served as senior art director at Bozell Worldwide, New York.
Farago+Partners has named Elizabeth Krupnick president of the agency. Prior to joining the New York shop, Krupnick served at New York Life as senior vice president, corporate communications, responsible for all advertising, public relations and creative services.
Media Logic has hired three new staffers. Megan Matson has joined the Albany shop as creative director. Matson formerly operated her own shop, Matson Advertising, located in Boulder, Colo. Michael Desjadon was named graphic artist; he was most recently designer/prepress
specialist at Brady & Berg, Worcester, Mass. Rebecca Finch was appointed staff accountant; she formerly served as account clerk at JBNJ of New York.
Regan Campbell Ward has hired two new staffers. Megan O’Meara was named account executive; prior to joining the New York shop, she was at PVD and Partners in New York, managing the development of a customized patient-education program, as well as the Lamisil-Tablets and
Celexa Web sites. Kristin LaBounty was appointed account coordinator; she was previously a health policy research analyst at Mathematica Policy Research, Princeton, N.J.

Gr‡fica in Chester has hired two new staffers. Jennifer LaCosta was named account supervisor, overseeing such accounts as Lucent Technologies and AT&T; she formerly served as assistant account supervisor. Corey Korpita was named senior art director; he previously did work for both The Lunar Group and The Sawtooth Group as a studio artist.
Hollyrock/Miller has named Donna Geczi art director. Before arriving at the Princeton-based shop, Geczi had been the sole proprietor of Discount Graphics, East Brunswick, for more than 17 years.

Roska Direct has named Lawrence Hudson vice president, account management, responsible for pharmaceutical and healthcare accounts. Before joining the Montgomeryville shop, she was director of global marketing in cardiovascular at Bristol-Myers Squibb, Princeton, N.J.
Knezic/Pavone Advertising has hired Barbara Pugh as a production accountant. Prior to joining the Harrisburg-based shop, she served as accounting assistant at Harrisburg Steam Works
