A TEXAS Rosario Holguin has joined Taylor/West Advertising, San Antonio, as the head of Tactixs, the newly formed strategic information and consumer research division of the agency. Holguin, who has a master's degree from the London School of Economics, will focus on trends impacting clients' industries. Mc2 advertising & design, Austin, has added John Caime to its staff as junior designer. Caime's duties will include design and production for the interactive and graphic design departments. Caime is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a B.F.A. in graphic design. Fuller Dyal & Stamper, Austin, has recruited several new staff members. Project manager Suzi Poore comes to FD&S from Nike, where she supervised the design and development of Niketown stores in Berlin and Miami. Poore has nearly 20 years experience overseeing the development of corporate identity, advertising and environmental graphics programs for clients including AT&T, Avia, Nissan, Miller Brewing, Procter & Gamble and Mitsubishi. Industrial designer David Babcock's experience includes product designs for clients such as Polaroid, 3M and Sunbeam. Tim Janke has arrived as environmental graphic designer from his previous position as associate and director of graphics at Design International, a Dallas architectural company. Jeff Raudabaugh has joined the shop as computer illustrator and art director for environmental graphics programs. Julie Babcock, formerly with slover [and] company, New York, was hired as graphic designer. Other new graphic designers include Jeff Savage, formerly with The Hill Group in Houston, Susie Hiskey and Itze Pavon. Matt Powell has been named media planner at Regian & Wilson/Grey Advertising, Fort Worth. Previously, Powell was with Gugel Advertising, Dallas. Montemayor y Asociados Advertising, San Antonio, has appointed Antonio Aldana account supervisor for Taco Cabana and Circle K. Aldana formerly worked for Jose Cuervo International as director for global marketing. Joining the Pennebaker.LMC team in Houston are Harriet Gordon as account manager and Kimberly Marr-Valdez as project manager. Patricia West has been designated media buyer at Mithoff Advertising, El Paso. West was formerly marketing director at Red Sky Publishing. Todd Brashear has moved to Group Bolton, Dallas, as advertising copy director. Brashear was previously with Impact Advertising in Dallas. At GSD&M, Austin, former employee James Rowland has returned to the agency as account director on SBC Communications. Christina Sannasardo comes to the agency from True North Media in Chicago. As media buyer, she will work primarily on the SBC Communications account. David Gilmour has joined the shop from Baron Communications in Canada, where he was a media planner for two years. As global media planner, Gilmour has been assigned to the MasterCard International account. With eight years experience in advertising and marketing, Bo Bradbury has been appointed account director in business development. Debbi Mizel has arrived at GSD&M as senior media negotiator on the PacBell account. Previously, she worked at TBS Media Management in New York. Ellie Williams has been promoted from assistant media planner to media planner on the SBC Communications and Agillion accounts. Showcase Digital Productions, Dallas, has promoted two producers to company officers. Daryl Haynes has become vice president of production and Renee Roberts was named vice president of duplication. New appointments include Arlene Mayor as chief financial officer and Gaylon Edwards as vice president of sales and marketing. Nancy Nichols has assumed a senior account manager's post at Staats Falkenberg & Partners, Austin. Nichols previously held a marketing and advertising position with Blue Byte Software. Colleen Dienstbier has joined the agency's production and traffic department. Dienstbier was formerly vice president and operations manager at Fulfillment Solutions. A NEW MEXICO Rick Johnson & Co., Albuquerque, has hired Lorie Gallagher as account supervisor for various retail accounts. Nicole Wascoe Bauman is the new account coordinator. Bauman is a former graduate advertising assistant at the University of Iowa's performing arts center. The shop also enlisted Todd Sandman as public relations director. Sandman previously worked in corporate communications and marketing for Sun Healthcare Group. A OKLAHOMA Anajannett Mayfield has joined Communicating Arts, Tulsa, as multimedia production manager. Mayfield was formerly a producer for Human Code, Austin. Kenneth Mayfield has arrived at the agency as multimedia programmer, responsible for interactive projects. He has 10 years experience as an art director for computer and entertainment companies
