CONNECTICUT Avon-based Mintz & Hoke has hired Saverio Mancini as account executive in its public relations department and John Caine as Web master. Mancini most recently served as public relations manager with the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, while Caine was with SNET Internet. MASSACHUSETTS Boston-based Pagano Schenck & Kay has named Jonathan Tress assistant media planner and hired Patricia Briden as account supervisor on the Webster Bank account. Tress will work in the agency's Boston office while acting as liaison with Media First International in New York, the media buying firm subcontracted to work for PSK's media clients. Briden most recently served as information services manager with the former Leonard/Monahan, Providence, R.I. She also worked as an account executive with Leonard/Monahan, where she helped service such accounts as Polaroid, Hewlett-Packard and Lotus Development Corp. Stringer in Burlington has named Gail Yankauskas production and traffic manager and Paul Charbonnier assistant traffic and production manager. Yankauskas was previously a print production buyer with Al Paul Lefton in Philadelphia, and Charbonnier was with TMP Worldwide. Kirk Brown has been tapped as business development manager for the Momentum Group in East Longmeadow. He was the marketing manager for Oberread & Associates. Family Education Co. in Boston has hired Edward Sevilla as vice president of marketing. Sevilla previously served as vice president and associate marketing director for Strategic Interactive Group, a unit of Bronner Slosberg Humphrey in Boston. Trinity Communications in Boston has named Michelle Psyhogeos a designer in its creative services department. Psyhogeos was formerly the managing editor of Network World. Peter Terhune has been named marketing manager of Tremont Brewery Co. in Boston. He was most recently managing editor for Ale Street News. Woburn-based CPS Direct has tapped Jay Shenk as vice president of response management services. Most recently, he was vice president and general manager of Little, Brown and Co./Time Warner Trade Publishing. Dimond Communications Group in Boston has tapped Caitlinn Khemka Cohen as account executive from Weber Public Relations Worldwide in Cambridge. BBK Communications in Newton has promoted Sue Teperow to production artist in its visual arts department. She previously served as a mechanical artist. Colette Phillips Communications in Needham has hired Rhonda Miller and Deborah West as account executives and Sheila Begonis as creative services manager. The agency also has promoted Jackie Price to director of client services and Chris Korab to account management director. S.R. Weiner and Associates in Chestnut Hill has appointed David Saurette and Philip Ricardi project managers. Bedford-based Atex Media Solutions has promoted Lori Burke to manager, global marketing communications. She most recently served as manager of marketing communications for the Americas. Sue Khodarahmi has joined specialty publishing house Custom Communications Partners in Boston as a managing editor. She had worked for the company as a freelance writer for the past year. Prior to that, Khodarahmi worked at Cadmus Custom Publishing, also in Boston, as managing editor of Continental Airlines' in-flight magazine. Woolf Associates in Boston has promoted Grace Clancy to account supervisor. Clancy has worked on several accounts, including Bell Atlantic and John Hancock. In addition, the agency has appointed Tappen Noble and Sarah Rees to its corporate marketing department. Noble will work as events and promotions manager on the Polaroid and Stop & Shop accounts, while Rees will serve as an account executive on Bell Atlantic and Stop & Shop. Chelmsford-based Doherty Communications has announced the following additions to its staff: Ann Howard, designer; Tricia Eno, account executive; and Amanda McGibbon, marketing assistant. BBL Advertising in Acton has appointed Tracey Brown public relations assistant, Edward Lee assistant media buyer and Jeff Roe production manager. Most recently, Roe worked for Ammirati Puris Lintas in New York as print traffic manager on the Compaq Computer account. RHODE ISLAND Bess Eaton Coffee & Bake Shop in Westerly has named Patricia Cimalore director of marketing. Most recently, Cimalore served as director of advertising and public relations for The Jan Cos. in Cranston. Roxanne Bisignano has been promoted to production manager from director and technical director at WPRI/WNAC-TV in Providence.
