Bates USA has selected Susan Aminoff as senior vice president, management representative on the CVS pharmacy account. Aminoff had been operating her own marketing consulting business, with clients such as the Food Network, the Brooklyn Academy of Music, Doctors & Designers and Merkley Newman Harty. People, New York, has named Anne Zehren publisher of Teen People. Zehren had worked at Condƒ Nast Publishing, New York, for the past four years, and was associate publisher of Glamour. Also at People, Steven Luttinger was named director of television. Formerly director of television and video for This Old House Classics, he will manage People's current television properties and develop new programming. Momentum.IMC, a New York specialized marketing agency, has promoted three to executive vice president: Chris Weil; who will manage the American Express Golf account; Peter Gumas, who will be responsible for client services, sponsorship and consulting in North America; and Kevin O'Rourke, who was also named general manager, North American operations. David Prager has been promoted to vice president, chief information officer of Katz Media Group, New York. He had been director of systems development and technical planning. SFM Media, New York, reported three promotions: Sean Malmgren to director, national broadcast; and John Parry and Joe Williams to associate directors in the network department. SFM also hired Melissa Cote and Brad Liebow as directors of national broadcast; Christopher Cifarelli as associate director, national broadcast; and Valerie Florsheim, Rob Niel and Virginia Pisano as managers, national broadcast. GHBM Healthworld, New York, has promoted three senior account management staff members. Linda Gill, Donna Just and Clare Macken have been elevated to executive vice president from senior vice president, management supervisor. The healthcare marketing company also hired Dr. Bruce Rector as vice president, account and information services director. Julian Scott was named group vice president, international production by Children's Television Workshop, New York. He will oversee all television production of CTW's international properties. Scott had been a producer of the sitcom Men Behaving Badly for the British Broadcasting Corp. Rodale Press has named Chris Caggiano account manager for Men's Health magazine. Caggiano, formerly sales development manager of Bride's, will be based in Rodale's New York office. Michael Paul, founder and president of New York public relations firm MGP & Associates, has taken a leave of absence to serve as executive vice president, corporate communications for the New York City Economic Development Corp. Parenting, New York, has tapped Jeff Wellington as associate publisher. He had been advertising director for GQ, New York. Patrick Downes has been promoted to advertising sales director for Audubon magazine, New York. Downes had been national advertising sales manager of Audubon. Interview magazine, New York, has elevated Victoria Melekson to the new post of associate publisher. Melekson had been advertising director. Stagebill, New York, reported two personnel moves: Mary Ann Oklesson was named national account manager for the fashion, jewelry, cosmetics and retail categories; and Scott Laine was promoted to national account manager from local account manager. Laine will handle the liquor, tobacco and entertainment categories. NEW JERSEY Advertising and public relations firm DKB & Partners, Morristown, has elevated Vincent Baglivo to vice president, public relations. Baglivo will manage all public relations functions and staff. International Specialty Products, Wayne, has elevated Jon Amdursky to global director, advertising and trade press relations. Amdursky had been senior manager, trade press and promotion. Cyrus Solomon has been tapped as an account coordinator by The Sawtooth Group, Woodbridge. PENNSYLVANIA Earle Palmer Brown, Philadelphia, has hired Leslie Whitham as vice president, management supervisor, responsible for the Helzberg Diamonds account. She had been vice president, account director at Saatchi & Saatchi Co-Marketing, Philadelphia. EPB also reported three promotions: Thomas Cannizzaro has been raised to vice president, human resources and administrative services from human resources and office manager; Cheryl Overton has been elevated to account supervisor, public relations from senior account executive; and Christine Scoma advanced to senior account executive, account service from account executive.
