ARIZONA E.B. Lane & Associates added five new employees to its Phoenix office: account coordinator Teri Morris, assistant account manager Kim Franklin, graphic designers Chris Wellman and Joe Piccoli and copywriter Travis Grahm. Eric Rutin joined Results Media Group in Phoenix as director of strategic planning. Rutin most recently worked at Cramer-Krasselt, also in Phoenix, as a media planner/buyer. The firm also hired Stephanie Barr as a media planner/buyer and Kimberly Hall as an account manager. Account supervisor Tracey Hott and art director Greg Harwell recently joined Cramer-Krasselt in Phoenix. The agency now employs 70 people. OREGON Donna Gibbs will head Cambridge, Mass.-based The Weber Group's newly opened Portland office as senior vice president. Wordsmith Communications in Portland hired Gregory LeFever as its general manager. JohnsonSheen Advertising in Portland added Cindi Newell as an account executive and Brandon K. Bruins as an assistant account executive. Newell previously worked in the Portland office of DavisElen Advertising as an account executive on the agency's McDonald's accounts in Oregon, southwest Washington and southeast Idaho. Bruins most recently worked at Lane Marketing Communications. SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA Di Zinno Thompson Integrated Marketing Solutions in San Diego added several new employees. Senior media planner/buyer Shannon Sullivan joins the shop from Lambesis in Del Mar, where she served as a senior media planner for the past two years. Robin Vallaire was hired as a production artist. She most recently worked as a graphic designer at IEC, working on client logos, posters and brochures. Also, Jamie Marsh joined the San Diego shop as an account coordinator. Foote, Cone & Belding in Santa Ana promoted Scott Lowry to vice president/managing director on the Taco Bell account for the Northwest region. Lowry joined FCB in January. BMGHealth Communications in Los Angeles promoted Jennifer Rutten to senior account executive. Lagrant Communications recently hired Sandra Sims and Adrena Ifill as account managers. The Los Angeles agency has been retained to handle publicity for Proposition CC, a renovation effort for the Los Angeles County Zoo, and for Tailored Transitions, a Denver-based nonprofit corporation specializing in providing professional clothing to low-income women. Contois Design Studio in San Diego hired Marc Hedges as a graphic designer. Hedges previously ran MTC Design in Baltimore before relocating to San Diego. WASHINGTON Elizabeth Bye joined JayRay Ads & PR as an account executive. Bye joins the Tacoma agency from Media Index Publishing.
