CONNECTICUT Mason & Madison in New Haven has named Jeffrey Berman senior account executive, Chris Albee account planner and Terry Chriswell account executive in its advertising department. Berman was most recently an account executive with Stanton Crenshaw Communications in New York. Albee previously served as account executive with Rockett, Burkhead, Lewis & Winslow Advertising & Public Relations in Raleigh, N.C., and Chriswell was with Keiler & Co. in Farmington. O'Neal & Prelle in Hartford has hired Joe Campolieta as vice president of marketing. He was most recently a senior marketing strategist at Moore Medical Co. in New Britain. MASSACHUSETTS McDermott/O'Neill & Associates in Boston has tapped Michael Vaughan as account director. He previously served as senior project manager and regional deputy of the Boston Redevelopment Authority. Boston-based Greenberg Seronick O'Leary & Partners has named Jennifer Parris traffic manager and Diane Proctor vice president/account supervisor. Parris was with Trinity Communications, while Proctor was with Ingalls, both in Boston. Schneider & Associates in Boston has added Lisa Petrocchi as account supervisor and Jennifer Viera as account executive to its corporate communications group. Both come from FitzGerald Communications in Cambridge, where Petrocchi served as a senior account executive and Viera was an account executive. LoConte Goldman Design, Boston, has hired Eliza McLatchy as associate producer. McLatchy had previously worked for the company on a freelance basis. The Weber Group in Cambridge has announced the following staff additions: Amy Fitzgerald, billing manager; Antonia Iafrate, account coordinator; and Joy Pedula, account coordinator. Gail Mastrone and LaurieAnn DiLorenzo have joined Seidler Bernstein in Cambridge as senior graphic designer and administrative assistant, respectively. Mastrone previously ran her own design studio. Lisa DeSisto has been promoted to vice president and general manager of The Boston Globe's Boston.com. DeSisto most recently served as vice president, strategy and marketing. Marketing by Design in Beverly has tapped Jennifer Cuddeback as marketing logistics coordinator, Alex Pandre as software engineer and Bree MacCarthy as graphic artist. Cuddeback was marketing communications coordinator with DALiM Creative Workflow Solutions in Bedford, N.H., Pandre was a software engineer in Moscow and MacCarthy was a graphic designer with New England Serum Co. NEW HAMPSHIRE The Vermont/New Hampshire Direct Marketing Group in West Lebanon has appointed new board members: Kendra Fowler of PVA-EPVA in Wilton is president, Jim Therriault of Therriault Communications in Peterborough is executive vice president, Kathy Reagan of Datamann in Wilder is secretary and Pat Nestork of Tuckaway Telemarketing in Hinesburg is treasurer. RHODE ISLAND Stephen Hamblett, publisher and chief executive officer of The Providence Journal Co., has announced that he will retire at the end of the month. Hamblett will be succeeded by Howard Sutton, who currently serves as assistant publisher, president and chief operating officer at the company. RDW Group in Providence has named Tony Aguilar, Raymond Corsini, Mary Lambert-Furtado and Nancy Smith Hogan production managers.
