Brodeur Worldwide, Boston, named executive vice president Michael Brewer the agency’s first chief client service officer. Brewer, who founded and led Brodeur’s Global Consumer Technology Practice, will spearhead the development of new survey methodologies to measure and improve client satisfaction and redefine best practices for client service. Senior vice president Dan Schutt will assume Brewer’s duties as U.S. leader for Brodeur’s Consumer Technology Practice. Senior consultant Gretchen Dock has been named executive vice president, working closely with Brewer. She will also provide senior leadership for the company’s marketing services, research and measurement groups.

Arnold Worldwide, Boston, hired Amy Wilson as vice president, management supervisor; Lauren Canter as assistant media planner on Ocean Spray; Shannen Gillespie as assistant media planner on Monster.com; Megan Jones as assistant planner on Universal Music; Brooke Green as network buyer on Monster.com; Jennifer Chapman as assistant account executive for its Brand Promotions Department; Jennifer Gilligan as business manager/executive assistant for its Brand Promotions department; and Sasha Hartman as account executive. The agency also promoted Sarah Unger to media planner on Talbots and JetBlue; Allison Tierney to media planner on Universal Music and Ocean Spray; and Karyn Meyer to media planner on American Legacy Foundation.

The Online Digital Advertising Connection, a provider of ad-commerce software systems in Boston, appointed Pile and Co. CEO Skip Pile to its board of advisors.

Agnew Carter/MS&L, Boston, hired S. Terry Vandewater as vice president in its Consumer Practice Group. She was previously director of public affairs for The Stop & Shop Supermarket Co.

CPS Direct, Woburn, hired Debra Hart as vice president, account director; Claudia Guzman and Bob Lodi each as senior account executive; David MacGregor as senior copywriter; and Karen Jasmin as account executive.

Orsatti & Partners, Boston, hired Chris Castagnola as senior copywriter and Laura-Anne Catlin as art director. Both come from Wickersham Hunt Schwantner (now Arnold Worldwide), Boston, where Castagnola was vice president, senior copywriter and Catlin was an art director. The agency also hired Holly Barbee as an account executive. She was formerly an assistant marketing manager at Arnold Communications (now Arnold Worldwide), Boston.

BBK, Newton, hired Marina Mitchell as art director, with responsibility for visual execution of the agency’s creative products ranging from broadcast to print. She was previously an art director at Jupiter Drawing Room, an advertising agency in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Smith & Jones, Worcester, added Patrick Kilcoyne as an account coordinator and Peter Chilton as a junior designer. Kilcoyne previously served as a marketing research assistant for the Worcester Historical Society and Museum, while Chilton was a freelance artist.

Nicoll Public Relations, Norwood, appointed Katie Clarke public relations assistant. She will assist with the agency’s consumer electronics and automotive aftermarket industries, with responsibilities including editorial fulfillment, press compilations, project management and traffic and production coordination.

Sage Marketing Communications, Newburyport, added Brian Cox as public relations account executive/writer. He was most recently marketing manager at Iris Graphics, a Bedford, Mass.-based manufacturer of digital proofing products for the graphic arts industry.

Trinity Communications, Boston, added Chris Joy to its public relations team. She previously spent several years as a public relations and event marketing specialist at Deloitte & Touche.


Barradas Yeaton & Wold, Portsmouth, hired Barrie Jackson as an account supervisor. Jackson will manage accounts including New Hampshire Tourism and Southern New Hampshire University. She was most recently with Arnold Worldwide, Boston, as part of Arnold Brand Promotions.


Duffy & Shanley, Providence, hired Kyra Ala as an assistant account executive for Metiom.
