"NEW YORK David Nobay joined Bozell Worldwide, New York, as executive creative director, relationship marketing. A copywriter, Nobay most recently worked as managing partner at Anthem Advertising in London, the integrated agency he launched for AMV BBDO last year. J. Walter Thompson, New York, named Doug Jaeger associate creative director of JWT Digital Communications. He was previously senior art director at K2 Designs. McCaffery Ratner Gottlieb & Lane, New York, added Jill Hofstra as vice president, marketing. Prior to joining the agency, she was president of her own consulting firm. David Sirieix Inc., New York, named Michael Ferreri president. He was most recently vice president of the French agency Polaris, a subsidiary of the Havas Group. John Hoeschele, vice president, creative services at Sage Communications, Syracuse, was appointed to the Syracuse Ad Club's board of directors. He will edit the organization's monthly newsletter, Ad Libs. Harrison Leifer Miller & Speyer in Rockville Center named Barbara Hyatt assistant director of public relations. Prior to joining HLM&S, she was a vice president at Gail Becker Associates. Direct marketing agency AGA Catalog Marketing & Design, New York, added five directors: Peggi Davis was appointed creative director; Kerry Wiemokly was named director of imaging; Marcia Minter joined the firm as creative director of its multi-customer group; Jeanne Kervran was hired as account director for Lerner New York and King Size; and Elana Friedman was promoted to account director. Flair Communications, New York, tapped Jane Russo as account director on the Certs business. She was previously an account supervisor at Tracy Locke & Partners. Peter Heymann joined Prism Marketing and Communications, New York, as senior vice president. He had been managing director, chief executive of Sukon Marketing Communications. Deloitte Consulting, New York, added Kim Commerato as manager, global public relations. She was previously marketing manager at Media Solutions International in Atlanta, Ga. Ruth Wooden, who steps down next month as president of the Advertising Council, will assume the presidency of the National Parenting Association, also New York. She was the Ad Council president for 11 years. Camille Hackney was appointed vice president, multimedia, marketing and business development at the Elektra Entertainment Group, New York. She was formerly senior director, new media market development at the Warner Music Group. Jim McCabe advanced to the newly created position of vice president, advertising sales at Worth, New York. He had been associate publisher at the magazine. Wenner Media, New York, tapped John Berg as vice president, group publisher. The former executive vice president, managing director at BBDO will oversee ad sales and marketing for Rolling Stone, Us and Men's Journal. Forbes in New York promoted Russell Cherami to advertising director. He worked for six years as New York manager, overseeing ad sales in the Eastern region. "PENNSYLVANIA Earle Palmer Brown, Philadelphia, hired two staffers: Laura Lapinsohn joined the agency as senior account executive from CoMed Communications, where she was public relations manager; Joanna Leslie was also hired as an assistant account executive with the agency's technology team after completing an internship at EPB. McAdams, Richman & Ong, Bala Cynwd, hired three staffers: Andrew Todes was named copywriter, a title she held at Earle Palmer Brown in Philadelphia; Diane Hill joined the shop as production manager from Criterion Communications, King of Prussia, where she was director of operations and project manager; and Laurie Bolger arrived as traffic manager from Adoptions from the Heart in Wynnewood, where she was marketing manager. LD&B Communications, based in Horsham, promoted three staffers: Jon Gifford advanced to associate creative director, Craig Huber moved up to senior account executive and Gretchen Slapinsky was elevated to art director. "CONNECTICUT Decker in Glastonbury has named Jason Johnson production supervisor, Michael McCullough traffic manager and Christine Wojdyla junior associate. Johnson was with ColorPix Systems of America, McCullough worked at the Derath Group and Wojdyla came from Ames Department Stores. Dan Poincelot has joined the Web development team of Brain Bug in Hartford. He most recently served as a Web designer with Acsys in Bristol.
