CONNECTICUT Group Four Design in Avon has named David Danielson design manager, Carol Hoyem junior designer and Robert Mitchell accounting manager. Danielson was a partner with Sound Ideas in Stratford, Hoyem was a designer at Libby MacDonald Shear in Stamford and Mitchell was self-employed. Laura Soll has formed her own business in Windsor called Laura Soll Public Relations and Special Events. Soll spent the past nine years as vice president for Andrea Obston Marketing Communications in Bloomfield. KGA Advertising in Middletown has tapped Jane Polowitzer as production manager and Sue Heath as stylist. MAINE C.J. Johnson has joined NL Partners in Portland as an art director. Johnson will work on broadcast and print ads as well as Web site design for the shop's newly formed NLTK division, dedicated to e-commerce. MASSACHUSETTS Hill, Holliday Interactive in Boston has promoted Vashti Brotherhood and Jonathan Wolfarth to vice presidents, creative team leaders from vice presidents, senior copywriters. Kelley Habib John Integrated Marketing in Boston has appointed Julie Ginches vice president of KHJ Public Relations. She was most recently director of marketing and communications at Epicon in Waltham. Sheila McGoldrick has joined Marketing by Design in Beverly as account coordinator. She is a recent graduate of Merrimack College. The shop also has hired David Barber as senior illustrator. He was most recently with Comap in Lexington. Eymer Design in Boston has promoted Neal Stennett to account representative from operational manager. In addition, the agency has tapped Daniel Tucker as director of new business development. He was co-founder and owner of Back Bay Blossoms in Boston. Boston-based Dimond Communications Group has hired Christian Potts as account executive. Potts most recently served as account executive at Schwartz Communications in Waltham. Multivision in Needham has tapped Jerry Goldman to work in the sales and marketing departments. Goldman has spent the past four years as an agency producer in Atlanta. Red Brick Design in Chelmsford has named Barry O'Neil co-president and chief financial officer and Dale Cunningham and Larry Matteson partners. The three were most recently with Oneil Communications in Tyngsboro. Accent Communications in Beverly has promoted Melissa Connor to public relations account executive responsible for clients such as Everbare, Network Support Technologies, Business Marketing Associates, Real World and Treadwell's Ice Cream. The shop also has named Melissa Gagnon advertising account executive on the Kenda Systems, HR Logic, Wendes Systems and Envirotech accounts and Julia Drinkwater office assistant. Gagnon was a marketing and public relations associate at Beverly Hospital. Drinkwater most recently served as an assistant in the accounts payable department of Wakefield Engineering in Beverly. Adam Karpinski has been named graphic designer at Ellis Pratt Design in Boston. He most recently served as a designer at Sullivan & Brownell. Lowe Grob Health & Science in Cambridge has announced the following hires: Ian Brumberger, marketing associate; Shawn FitzMaurice, account executive; Brendan Gately and Jessica Rath, account coordinators; and Frank Serraino, project manager.
