Shelton Communications Group, Dallas, welcomed lead designer and graphic design manager Daniel Canter and designer Susie Kang.
Kelli Horst was promoted to public relations director at Witherspoon & Associates, Fort Worth. She has been at the shop since 1995, most recently serving as public relations account executive.
The Dallas Morning News, Dallas, installed executive vice president Robert Mong as its new president and general manager. Mong succeeds outgoing president Jeremy Halbreich at the newspaper.
