Most (and Least) Favored Nations

Americans feel more neighborly when facing north than facing south, to judge by Gallup polling last month. Adults were asked whether they have a favorable or unfavorable opinion of a number of foreign countries. Canada scored the best, with 90 percent viewing it favorably. Britain was the runner-up, a single percentage point behind the leader.
