Moore & Scarry Adds More Car Dealers

ATLANTA Moore & Scarry has acquired another division of the Asbury Automotive Group to its list of clients with the win of the $2 million account for North Point Automotive Group, the shop said.

The independent Fort Myers, Fla., agency won the account after a review that included the two incumbent shops: Omni Automotive Advertising of Boca Raton, Fla., and The Moran Group of Baton Rouge, La.

M&S will provide creative, production and media planning and placement for the Little Rock, Ark.-based chain of automotive dealerships. The work will focus primarily on television and print ads and is scheduled to launch the week of May 16.

Asbury Automotive Group of New York owns North Point, which includes 11 franchisees concentrated in the Little Rock and North Little Rock area. Asbury controls 96 dealerships selling 33 brands of automobiles.

M&S now has the advertising accounts for four divisions of Asbury. The shop added Nalley Automotive Group, an Atlanta-based group of dealers, earlier this year. Nalley operates 10 locations and spends as much as $7 million on advertising annually.

Also last month, M&S added Bob Taylor Chevrolet and Bob Taylor Jeep to its client list. The Bob Taylor dealerships in Fort Myers are independently owned and spend about $750,000 on advertising annually.
