NEW YORK Modem Media has hired Jonathan Adams, formerly senior partner and group media director at WPP Group’s mOne, as media director.

In the new role, Adams, 35, will primarily manage media for the Delta Air Lines account. Other senior executives previously handled those responsibilities. He will also assume certain duties as a senior leader in the media services department.

“[Modem] has a great roster of people who I’ve known and respected for years,” said Adams, who will report to Walt Cheruk, vice president of media services at the Norwalk, Conn.-based
