* Forty percent of respondents say they frequently/occasionally “read product or store reviews posted on Web sites”; 28 percent “look for recommendations on what to watch, buy, etc., on social-networking Web sites.” (Yankelovich Monitor)

* Among 6-11-year-olds, 18 percent of boys and 22 percent of girls had a cell phone last year. Forty-nine percent used it to play games; 34 percent used it to listen to music. (Mediamark Research & Intelligence)
