NEW YORK — Mike Mohamad, the newly named svp of marketing for The History Channel, will now lead the network’s ad review after swapping jobs Monday with Arti Scheff, who has been appointed svp of marketing for A&E, the client confirmed.

Scheff launched the History Channel creative review in late September after not renewing the network’s contract with Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners in New York [Adweek Online, Sept. 30]. Fifteen agencies have returned the RFP, Scheff said, adding that the field of contenders will be narrowed to three or four by Nov.
