Struggling Boston independent Modernista! today disclosed a pair of senior leadership moves, including the promotion of Matt Howell to president, where he takes over from agency co-founder Gary Koepke, who served in that post on an interim basis.
An R/GA veteran, Howell (pictured) had been Modernista!’s chief interactive officer.
Koepke and Lance Jensen, the agency’s other co-founder, continue to serve as agency cds as they’ve done since the shop launched a decade ago.
In addition, Alex Hesz, who joined Modernista! as client services director in June, has been promoted to managing director.
