Modernista! Adds Creative Team for A-B, Hummer

BOSTON Independent agency Modernista! saId it has added a new creative team, senior art director Philip Bonnery and senior copywriter Alex Flint, to work on two of its key accounts: Anheuser-Busch and General Motors’ Hummer.

Bonnery, 38, had most recently been freelancing. In that capacity, he worked for New York agencies such as Bartle Bogle Hegarty (on the Axe deodorant business) and Cliff Freeman and Partners (on Mohegan Sun) and for San Francisco-based Hal Riney & Partners (on Hewlett-Packard and Sprint).

Flint, 31, had been with Spike DDB in New York, working mainly on Pepsi, Lay’s and TNT. Prior to Spike, he spent three years at Deutsch, where he wrote copy for Domino’s Pizza and Snapple.

Modernista! said Bonnery and Flint fill new positions at the Boston-based shop, which has about 75 employees.
