NEW YORK AKQA lost its second media executive in recent months, as Christine Bensen departed for Modem Media.

Bensen, 36, was director of media and analytics at AKQA. Her departure follows that of Kate Everett-Thorp, who left the San Francisco agency in January and is now a parnter at venture capital firm WaldenVC. Andrew O’Dell assumed Everett-Thorp’s role as president of interactive.

At Digitas’ Modem, Bensen will serve as vp of media at its San Francisco office, handling digital, direct, print and out-of-home.
