Mintz & Hoke Wins ChimeNet

BOSTON Independent Mintz & Hoke said it has been hired by ChimeNet following a review of undisclosed shops and is preparing a print-based campaign for the client that is scheduled to break in September. Mintz & Hoke becomes the client’s first agency.

The client in Wallingford, Conn., develops and manages secure computer networks for companies seeking to safeguard critical information.

To win the business, the agency “presented a solution to what we needed, not what they can provide,” said David LaSalata, manager of business development for ChimeNet.

Work from Avon, Conn-based Mintz & Hoke will target “professional firms such as law firms, accountants and medical practices,” an agency representative said. The goal is to generate leads for the company and help it expand into new markets. Currently, ChimeNet is probably best known as the technology affiliate of the Connecticut Hospital Association.

The budget was not disclosed but will likely be in the mid six figures.
