The Cullinan Group in Minneapolis has launched a print, radio and direct response campaign in Northern California on behalf of a Vermont energy marketer that says it intends to spend at least $8 million to brand itself.
Burlington, Vt.-based Green Mountain Energy Resources enlisted the Minneapolis agency through its local utility, Green Mountain Power, about three years ago. Cullinan’s
hiring grew out of a prior relationship between the shop and Kevin Hartley, GMER vice president of marketing.
GMER plans to resell power primarily generated through renewable sources, such as geothermal and wind, as states are opened to energy competition through deregulation.
