Microsoft will open Solution Studio 415 in San Francisco in early December. The location will pilot Microsoft’s Solution Studio program, which creates marketing labs so that Microsoft employees and brand marketers can team on up in new partnerships.

The idea of Solution Studio 415 is to get technologists and marketers in a room to compare research and draft partnership ideas that the two sides can then figure out how to execute.

“Our ultimate goal is to bring the same kind of design-led thinking that birthed the Kinect and Arc Touch Mouse to the table, to help marketers engage in rich and relevant ways with their customers, and solve some of the toughest marketing challenges along the way,” Rick Chavez, gm of Microsoft Advertising's online services division, wrote in a company blog post.
