MFP Taps Managing Director

NEW YORK Margeotes Fertitta Powell said it has added Lisa Fabiano in the new position of managing director.

Fabiano, 49, will report to agency CEO Michael Kantrow, with whom she worked for more than a decade at Euro RSCG Worldwide.

Most recently, she held the title of evp, general manger at that agency, where she worked for 17 years with clients that included MCI, New Balance and Volvo. (Kantrow joined MFP last year from Euro RSCG in New York, where he was managing director and head of client services.)

“Having worked with her for over a decade, I’m confident that she’s got just the right mix of skills, experience and entrepreneurial passion to be a key asset to the agency,” Kantrow said.

Kantrow said that he recruited Fabiano in part because the New York agency needed senior client management. Fabiano will work with Kantrow to head up client services, which encompasses about 20 staffers, and will help steer new business efforts and agency operations.

Separately, new business director Brandon Lowitz left MFP late last year. His duties have been split among the shop’s top management. The agency may hire a new business manager later this year, but is not looking for a replacement at the director level, Kantrow said.
