After more than a year of social distancing and with summer on the way, many consumers are more than ready to enjoy some quality time outside. For performance and lifestyle brand Merrell, that means challenging the line between “indoor” and “outdoor” activities.

Created in partnership with the brand’s agency of record Words From The Woods, Merrell’s ‘Everything Is Greater Outdoors’ initiative is asking us to get creative with how we spend time outside. Corresponding with the company’s 40th anniversary in 2021 and in celebration of June, the “Great Outdoors Month,” its new campaign features a series of short videos with actors doing things like watching movies, baking cookies, and drinking coffee—not in the comfort of their own homes, but in the great outdoors.
