NEW YORK The Aflac duck’s voice has been restored, thanks to Melania Trump.

Aflac, the Columbus, Ga., insurance company, said it would unveil a spot on May 2 in which the new wife of Donald Trump provides the duck’s voice, saying more than the standard “Aflac!” line.

The client spent $70 million in U.S. media in 2004, per Nielsen Monitor-Plus.

In more recent executions from its ad agency, Publicis Groupe’s The Kaplan Thaler Group here, Aflac had silenced the duck in favor of dialogue between human characters that gave more information about the benefits.
