MediaVest USA Names Milliaressis COO

LOS ANGELES — Renee Milliaressis, president of strategic planning for New York-based MediaVest USA network, has been named to the newly created position of chief operating officer of the Starcom MediaVest Group media agency.

Milliaressis, 42, is a highly regarded media thinker with two decades of experience, mostly at MediaVest and its predecessor, TeleVest, and is the creator of the agency’s Brand Advocate Unit for flagship client Procter & Gamble.

The Bcom3-owned media agency also added Richard Beaven, 35, as director of product development, also a new post. Beaven joins from sister media shop Starcom Motive in London, where he has served as executive U.K. planning director.

Beaven was managing director of Starcom London in 2000 when the company was merged with Bartle Bogle Hegarty’s media agency, Motive. He will report to Milliaressis. Both executives will assume their new duties on January 1.
