Liz Ross has left Publicis Groupe’s Digitas to take on the new role of North American CEO at Interpublic Group’s Mediabrands Ventures, the unit that oversees a number of the holding company’s media specialists, including Geomentum (local), Reprise Media (search and social) and Velociter (retail).

At Digitas, which she joined in 2009, Ross was chief growth officer. Previously, she was president of U.S. operations at Tribal DDB. The move reunites Ross with Matt Freeman, global CEO at Mediabrands Ventures, to whom she will report.
