David Verklin is chief executive officer of Carat North America, the Aegis-owned British media specialist that made its U.S. debut in 1996. In the U.S., Carat has since grown, mostly through acquisitions, to $1.2 billion in billings. With global accounts worth $8 billion, Carat is one of the world’s largest media planning and buying organizations.
