The GroupM media network MEC is making changes to its top management team: Stuart Bowden, formerly joint CEO of MEC in the U.K., is the new global chief strategy officer while Pele Cortizo-Burgess, global integrated planning director, moves into the new role of global chief creative officer.

Bowden, based in London, steps into the role previously held by Melanie Varley, who retired last March. As a result of Bowden's move, Jason Dormieux becomes sole CEO for MEC in the U.K.
