CHICAGO MARC USA has promoted Jean McLaren to president of its Chicago office. She replaces Gary Young, who has left the agency.

McLaren, who joined the agency over the summer as chief operating officer, has more than 20 years of experience at agencies such as J. Walter Thompson, Ammirati Puris Lintas and Foote Cone & Belding, all in Chicago. She has worked for clients such as Kraft, General Foods and Hershey’s.

“Jean is all about finding insights that produce fresh, results-driven campaigns,” said MARC USA chief executive Tony Bucci in a statement.
