CHICAGO – Similar to its big Michael Jordan-Larry Bird showdown during and after January’s Super Bowl, McDonald’s Corp. is ready to go at it again – only this time with two football placekickers.
McDonald’s is expected to launch a new campaign for its Big Mac that pits Miami Dolphins kicker Pete Stoyanovich against kicker Chip Lohmiller of the Washington Redskins. Similar to the Jordan-Bird matchup spot, which had the two playing an ultimate game of H-O-R-S-E, the two kickers will battle it out, this time with outrageous football kicks, for a Big Mac.
Jordan is expected to make a cameo appearance in the spot.
