CHICAGO McDonald’s Corp. broke the first U.S. advertising in its global “I’m lovin’ it” campaign during the weekend, in what a company representative called a “preview” of its domestic launch.

The 30-second brand spot from Omnicom Group’s Heye & Partner in Unterhaching, Germany, aired during ABC’s Miss America broadcast on Saturday and during Fox’s Emmys broadcast on Sunday. The spot also is expected to air on ABC’s Monday Night Football and NBC’s season premiere of Friends, according to company representative Walt Riker.
