First, lawmakers in California voted to ban McDonald’s from offering toys with Happy Meals. Now, the Center for Science in the Public Interest is suing the fast-food chain for “deceptive marketing and business practices,” according to Bloomberg.com.
The Washington-based consumer advocacy group is seeking class-action status on behalf of California’s children, who have been exposed to McDonald’s kids meals advertisements since December 2008.
