With an eye to improving the customer experience, McDonald’s is bringing in Tariq Hassan as its new chief marketing and digital customer experience officer for U.S. operations. 

Morgan Flatley held the role most recently. She is being promoted to McDonald’s global CMO, overseeing brand strategy, menu, family marketing, media partnerships, and customer and business insights.

Hassan will play a significant part in improving the customer experience at McDonald’s. Skilled at harnessing and leveraging data to create powerful customer experiences that strengthen a brand’s connection and maximize investment, Hassan begins the role on Sept.
