NEW YORK — McCann-Erickson has landed the estimated $25-30 million Major League Baseball account without a review, the agency said.

The account left Foote, Cone & Belding in San Francisco, in December.

Timothy J. Brosnan, evp, business, and Jacqueline Parkes, senior director of advertising for the New York-based client said McCann in New York will handle strategy, research, integrated consumer marketing and advertising. Media duties are handled by Universal McCann.

McCann will also handle advertising and marketing duties for the All-Star Game, the Century 21 Home Run Derby and the World Series and all Major League Baseball brands and properties including consumer products and charities.
