NEW YORK Interpublic Group’s McCann Erickson and Universal McCann have won USA Today‘s creative and media duties, respectively, the agency confirmed.
The account win came after a review that included McCann sibling The Martin Agency in Richmond, Va., and independent Cramer-Krasselt in Chicago, sources said.
No consultant was used. The client, the nation’s largest circulation daily newspaper, spent about $10 million on advertising last year, according to TNS Media Intelligence/CMR.
