McCann-Erickson and Burger King Part Ways

CHICAGO–McCann-Erickson and Burger King have parted ways on the fast-food giants $400 million account, sources said.

The New York shop won creative duties on the adult consumer portion of the account in December and produced a campaign that launched in March tagged, “Where the Whopper is King.” Its sibling agency, Campbell Mithun in Minneapolis, won the children’s consumer part of the account in January.
