McCann-Erickson takes a humorous approach in its debut campaign for Prestone antifreeze.

Focusing on the company’s relationship with the National Football League, the new work features Jil lian Barberie, who appears on Fox TV’s Sunday NFL pregame broadcast. Tagged “It’s Prestone season,” the three spots— directed by standup comic David Steinberg—will break on Sept. 9.

Barberie was chosen as spokes person to help connect football, cold weather and guys who change their own antifreeze, said Dave Moore, executive creative director.
